COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The narratives contained in the Sutra of the Wise and the Foolish are rebirth stories (Jatakas) of Buddha Shakyamuni. The Buddha often cited examples from his past lives to his disciples in order to encourage right conduct. By tracing the causes of suffering in present lives to events which took place in past lifetimes, he inspired his disciples with the possibility of transcending the human condition.
Our Spiritual Director would like to use this five-week course to share some of these beautiful stories with his students in order to deepen their understanding and belief in the natural law of karma, and to inspire his students as the Buddha inspired his disciples.
INVESTMENT:
The course fee is $55 CAD.

Refund Policy: An individual may receive a refund, less a $15 administration fee, if they request the refund from the Society Office by email, before 2:00 PM the day after the first class.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE:
Please register by Friday, October 21. The Zoom link will be sent by Monday, October 24.
IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE:
This course will be held at the Alberta Centre for Peace and Meditation, 11403-101 Street, Edmonton, AB T5G 2A9. Students are welcome to attend in person or online via Zoom.
VIRTUAL ATTENDANCE:
