In-Person & Zoom
Investment: $55

Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe welcomes new and returning students to join him for a new 5-week Buddhist philosophy course, Sutra of the Wise & Foolish: Buddha’s Life Story, beginning Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Click here to learn more about our Spiritual Director.

The narratives contained in the Sutra of the Wise and the Foolish are rebirth stories (Jatakas) of Buddha Shakyamuni. The Buddha often cited examples from his past lives to his disciples in order to encourage right conduct. By tracing the causes of suffering in present lives to events which took place in past lifetimes, he inspired his disciples with the possibility of transcending the human condition.

Our Spiritual Director would like to use this five-week course to share some of these beautiful stories with his students in order to deepen their understanding and belief in the natural law of karma, and to inspire his students as the Buddha inspired his disciples.

The course fee is $55 CAD.
