OPTIONAL YOGA SESSIONS:
Yoga sessions are shared in a supportive way that is inclusive whether you are a seasoned practitioner, or if this is your very first class. Movements will be done on the floor on your mat, but modifications will be given for those wishing to stay in chairs. The morning session will consist of gentle stretches, breath practices, and warming up the joints to aid in releasing tightness and creating both stability and range of motion in the body – preparing you for periods of sitting in meditation and learning sessions. The evening session will also be a very gentle practice, an unwinding of the day, calming the nervous system and preparing the body to ease into sleep.
