Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe welcomes new and returning students to join him for a new 3-week meditation course, Introduction to Meditation, beginning Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The benefits of meditation are well established and well known: reduced stress, increased joy, improved mental resilience, and a host of physical health improvements. We all want the benefits of a mindful life, but for many of us the question is: “How do I begin?”
Join Kushok for this 3-week course to learn the fundamentals of mindfulness meditation, and to lay the foundation for your personal meditation practice under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
This course is secular in nature and offered in an accessible way to compliment any spiritual path. All are welcome.
Please don’t miss this opportunity to bring more joy and peace into your daily life through a daily meditation practice.
The course fee is $35 CAD.
It is Gaden Samten Ling’s policy that no one should be turned away due to lack of funds. If you feel you would benefit from this course but are unable to register for financial reasons, please contact Gillian at [email protected].
Refund Policy: An individual may receive a refund, less a $15 administration fee, if they request the refund from the Society Office by email, before 2:00 PM the day after the first class.
Please register by Friday, September 2. The Zoom link will be sent by Monday, September 5.
This course will be held at the Alberta Centre for Peace and Meditation, 11403-101 Street, Edmonton, AB T5G 2A9. Students are welcome to attend in person or online via Zoom.
