Private: Individual Tara Praises

Announcements

Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchoe invites members and friends of Gaden Samten Ling to join him in the daily recitation of Tara Praises and mantra throughout the month of Sagadawa, beginning May 22nd and concluding on June 21st, 2020.

Sagadawa is a karmically potent time during which Mahayana practitioners make extra effort in spiritual practice and seek opportunities to actively practice compassion, generosity and other perfections. Kushok requests that Individuals sincerely concerned about the global suffering caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic consider participating with the intention of wanting to halt the spread of disease in the world and the wish that beings who are ill make a quick and full recovery.

Praises can be recited in the comfort of your own home and at your own pace. On June 21st, 2020, please share the total number of Tara Praises and mantra recitations you have completed by emailing the office at [email protected] with “Tara Praises” in the subject line. Kushok will then offer the grand total of Praises and mantra completed to the Tibetan Government in Exile, Department of Religious Affairs, in Dharamshala, India, on behalf of the Gaden Samten Ling community.

If you would like to be a part of this powerful collective accumulation of merit and positive aspiration for our global community, please begin recording the number of Tara Praises and mantra you recite each day between May 22nd and June 21st. Also, please don’t forget to register by clicking “Register Now” button on the top of this page. A copy of the Tara Praises and Tara Mantra are available on our web site as well as from the office.
