Giving Tuesday – December 2, 2024

Dear Members and Friends of Gaden Samten Ling,

As we approach the season of giving, we are excited to share an opportunity for you to make an even bigger difference in our community. This year, we are launching a Donation Matching Program to coincide with Giving Tuesday on December 3, 2024. A very kind and generous member of our community has pledged to match any donations made towards our goal—up to $31,000 total! 

What We Are Working Toward:

Our Spiritual Director, Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe, has long envisioned expanding our society for future generations, with a dedicated goal of creating a new facility for Gaden Samten Ling. By building this facility, Kushok aims to create a lasting space that will not only foster learning and the sharing of Tibetan Buddhist teachings but also nurture a vibrant, supportive community for generations to come. As you may know, we have recently acquired neighboring properties that have brought us closer to bringing this vision to life. To make this dream possible, our next step is to focus on strengthening our foundation by easing a few of our current financial commitments. This will allow us to move forward with building a new facility that can serve our current and future members as well as the broader community in deeper, more impactful ways. 

This means that any support you give will have twice the impact, helping us further Kushok’s vision. Each contribution brings us closer to creating a new facility that will warmly welcome and support our members and the broader community in meaningful ways.
