Dorje Namjom-ma Purification Ritual

We are happy to announce that Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe will be offering a Dorje Namjom-ma Purification Ritual on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in person (preferred) and via Zoom at Gaden Samten Ling.
Dorje means Thunder Bolt and Namjum means, that all negativity is purified. On the conventional level of understanding, Dorje Namjum-ma is the primary deity who has the power to eliminate all negativity in all sentient beings and in the world. From the ultimate level of understanding, it is the development of our own profound compassion and wisdom which manifests the qualities depicted in Dorje Namjum-ma, that is the power that can eliminate negativity and suffering. This purification ritual is from the Buddha and is 2,500 years old, passed on from teacher to student.
Kushok is now offering to pass along this blessing of this ritual from his master to us. He requests that attendees attend in person (if possible). Before the ritual, Kushok will recite the self-generation sadhana to generate himself as the deity Dorje Namjom-ma. As Dorje Namjom-ma Kushok performs the ritual to purify our body, speech and mind of negative thoughts and karma that may cause disease.

RITUAL FEE
Your investment to participate in this Purification Ritual is $45 ($65 zoom). It is Gaden Samten Ling’s belief that no one should be turned away due to lack of funds. If you are experiencing financial challenges that prevent you from registering, please contact Gillian at [email protected].
