Cultivating Compassion in the Age of Chaos

    November 6th -27th
    7:00pm - 9:00pm

We invite you to join us as our Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe welcomes new and returning students to join him for a new 4 week Buddhist philosophy course, Cultivating Compassion in the Age of Chaos, beginning Thursday, November 6 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Kushok will guide us in understanding the mind’s profound influence on our lives and how nurturing a compassionate heart dedicated to the well-being of all beings is essential to sustaining inner peace in an ever-changing world.

He will relay detailed commentary from Shantideva’s classic text The Way of the Bodhisattva, a timeless guide to awakening the good heart. This profound work is regarded as one of the great masterpieces of mind-training literature, revered across all traditions.

Reflecting on the importance of this text, His Holiness the Dali Lama says:

"If I have any understanding of compassion and the practice of the bodhisattva path (good heart), it is entirely on the basis of this text that I possess it."

Please register by Monday, November 3, 2025

    Handouts will be provided

No pre-requisite required. Everyone is welcome!
