Spiritual Director Kushok Lobsang Dhamchöe welcomes new and returning students to join him for a seven-week online meditation course, beginning Wednesday, March 16th, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. MDT.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Everyone can learn to be present, developing an awareness of now. Many people have difficulty quieting their mind. The stresses of daily life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, scattered, and emotionally unsettled. When we are distracted and overwhelmed, negative thoughts may consume us, we begin to feel unhappy. Once we are in an unhappy place, we continue to create more unhappiness and negativity. We will continue to face challenges in our daily lives therefore finding strategies to help us quiet the mind and break out of the cycle will help create a peaceful, happy life.

Kushok will explain how to apply different meditation techniques and guide participants through meditation sessions. By studying the techniques of mindfulness and applying them in daily life we can regulate our emotions, cultivating the sense of inner peace we all desire.

Take this precious opportunity to learn the basics of mindfulness practice and the practical techniques needed to apply it in your daily life.
